Are you a carer? There is so much we can help you with.
What is a carer?
Do you look after someone who is ill, frail, disabled or mentally ill? Do you shop, cook, clean, deal with personal care and medication and give emotional support to a family member, partner, friend or child who is ill, frail, disabled, has learning difficulties, mentally ill or has substance or alcohol problems. If so, you are classed as a Carer.
The practice are interested in identifying carers, especially those people who may be caring for someone without help or support, or who didn't realise the role they were playing is that of a Carer.
We have a Carer's Champion dedicated to working with you to ensure you get all the help and support you need. Her name is Lisa and she is one of our administration team. She can be contacted via email at Lisa.Howatson@nhs.net or via the practice on 01773 608760
