The practice offers "Flexible Working" outside the practice core hours. We hold 8 clinics per month at Jacksdale on Friday mornings. (7am to 8am) Patients are able to access these surgeries by pre-booked appointments only. Please ask the receptionists for further details.
A 24-hour emergency cover is provided outside the surgery hours, which includes weekends and Bank Holidays.
Please telephone the surgery as normal on 01773 608760. You will automatically be transferred to the Out of Hours Team who provide our emergency medical services.
For treatment outside working hours, you may be asked to attend their treatment centre, which is located at Primary Care 24 just in front of the A and E department at Kings Mill Centre. If a visit is considered to be necessary, another doctor will see you on your GP’s behalf.
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor. This service replaces NHS direct.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
