Practice Nurse - Nurse Prescriber
Our Practice Nurses are highly qualified. They run a number of clinics which are held in the well-equipped treatment room and assist the Doctors with minor surgery procedures, cervical smears and well person checks.

There may be times when it is not necessary to see the Doctor and your appointment could be made to see one of the Practice Nurses. The Nurses will liaise with the Doctor, where appropriate, to ensure you receive the best possible medical care.
Ruth has full qualification to take patient bloods, blood pressures, ear syringing, vaccinations and immunisations, ECGs and health checks.
Your main point of contact with the Primary Health Care Team will be at the Reception desk. We pride ourselves in being courteous and cheerful at all times and endeavour to help and assist you whenever possible.
We have access to a team of district nurses who visit patients in their own homes and care for the sick in the community.
